This tour runs on Saturday, Monday and Wednesday, in a small group of up to 9 people.
Join us on one of the most beautiful tours in Egypt and experience unforgettable moments. Luxor, once the capital of Egypt and known as the “City of Palaces,” is a wonderful destination for anyone who loves sightseeing and Egyptian history.
We will pick you up from your hotel in an air-conditioned car. On arrival in Luxor, we first head to the West Bank, home to the Valley of the Kings, where we see the tombs of Egyptian kings. Next, we visit the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, who built one of the strongest armies of her era.
We then see the Colossi of Memnon, nearly 18 meters long and weighing around 800 tons each — they were said to make singing sounds at sunrise, earning them the name “singing statues.”
After that, we take you to lunch, included in the tour price. Finally, we head to the East Bank to visit the Karnak Temples: the Temple of the god Amun-Ra and the Sacred (Enchanted) Lake.
After Karnak Temple, the car takes you to a 4-star hotel (Lotus). In the evening you can join an optional trip to the Sound & Light Show at Karnak. The show opens with a historical introduction covering the rise of the great city of Thebes and the building of Karnak Temple, then narrates the remarkable achievements of some of the great pharaohs with a poetic account of the artistic treasures and great heritage held within the temple.
Early on the second day, you’ll take a hot air balloon flight. Enjoy an incredible 45-minute balloon ride (balloons hold 12 to 34 people), rising to 2,000 feet and admiring every corner of ancient Egyptian history — from the Temple of Hatshepsut to Luxor Temple — while floating above it all.
At 9:00 AM the car takes you to the bus that returns you to Hurghada. The return journey is by local bus.
We need a photo of your passport to book this tour. You may hide your national ID number.
